Does RMV accept insurance?
Our draw fee is currently not covered by insurance. We are working hard to become accredited and credentialed, so that we may be able to accept insurance and in turn help a wider range of individuals. The labs ordered by your physician are usually covered by your insurance; please check with your insurance provider to ensure full coverage. If you do not have insurance, but would like to have labs drawn by RMV, we partner with a variety of labs where you can purchase tests individually. Contact our office for more details.
What areas does RMV service?
Though we are located in Los Angeles, we do travel outside of the Greater Los Angeles area. We service all of Southern California, from San Luis Obispo to San Diego. Counties we visit are: Imperial, Kern, Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, and Ventura. An additional travel fee of $20 applies to any cities outside of a 30 mile radius from 90013.
Does RMV have a brick and mortar location?
Our office is located in Downtown LA. However, due to state regulations and CDPH, we are unable to receive patients in our office. We are a completely mobile service.
What should I expect after my appointment with RMV?
After an RMV phlebotomist draws your labs, we will process and prepare your specimen for the reference lab prior to drop off. Once we reach the reference lab of your choice, we will personally hand off the specimen to the CLS processing the lab order. After confirmation of receipt of the specimen, we will inform you of the completion of your services via text or email; based on your preferred method of communication.
Does RMV provide other services apart from routine blood draw?
Yes! We are happy to say that we provide a variety of other services in addition to routine blood draw. Some of our additional services include: Autologous Serum Eyedrops (subject to availability), PRP Blood Draw (for practices of dental, aesthetician, orthopedic, etc), In-Patient/Bedside Blood Draw and specimen pickup/drop off, capillary stick for POCT (please contact our office for details), DNA Gender Reveal Testing, and more! Is RMV able to provide in home IV hydration or IV push?
We currently are unable to perform IV hydration or IV push due to the limited scope of our licenses. We hope to provide these services and more (wound care, vitals, etc) in the near future!
I don’t have a lab order, can I still have my labs done with RMV?
Absolutely! RMV partners with several labs who provide individual tests or panels at a cash price. These labs offer a significant discount for testing, and is a great resource for those who do not have a doctor’s order or insurance. A few of the labs we are partnered with include: Ulta Lab Tests, Rupa Health, and Alletess. We strive to give our patients as many options as possible, and continue to partner with new labs every day! Contact our office for more details.
Does RMV accept cash, Zelle, or other payment platforms?
RMV accepts a variety of payment options; we accept all major credit or debit cards, Zelle, CashApp, Venmo, and PayPal. We also offer Pay in 4 via PayPal’s website. Contact our office for more details.
