What to Expect

Here’s what you can expect from an appointment with us.

We’re here for you.

When you choose RMV for your blood draw services, you’re choosing from three highly qualified, professional, and friendly individuals who put their patients first. When we visit your office or home, you can expect a quick and seamless appointment so you can get on with your busy day and onto the things that matter most.

During your appointment

Upon booking your appointment, you’ll receive a confirmation via email and/or text. Be sure to fill out the questionnaire to the best of your ability, as it helps us to serve you better. Before we arrive at your desired location, we will contact you to inform you of our pending arrival. Once at your home or office, we will verify your name, date of birth, and insurance (if applicable). These are needed in order to complete lab processing. Your information is protected under HIPPA and the software we utilize ensures your privacy and data is safe and secure. If you prefer to scan and print your own copy of your ID and insurance, we will collect it from you at the beginning of your appointment along with your lab order. We will then set up our supplies in an area of your preference and perform the blood draw; if a urine sample is needed, we will provide you with a labeled urine cup and collect it once you’ve filled it. When we’ve collected all of your specimens, we will then collect payment. Please note: it is not required to tip your phlebotomist, our fees include compensation for your phlebotomist’s time, though the gesture is greatly appreciated if you choose to do so. Once your specimen has been received by the lab of your choice, the lab will notify your physician, who will in turn go over your results with you as if you had visited their office in person.
